'n Huldebly aan Heidi Groenewald

'n Groot leemte het vandag in ons lewens oopgeskeur...... 

Na 'n reis van vier jaar, en intense gevegte die laaste twee jaar - het 'n edele krygsvrou haar wapenrusting neergelê. 

Heidi se stem het vir ons op aarde stil geword, maar ons weet sy sing nou saam met die engelekoor.

Ons dank Abba Vader dat Hy ons geseën het met Sy liefde wat deur haar gevloei het.

Mag ons aanhou om haar te eer, deur daardie liefde deur ons te laat voortleef......

A tribute to Heidi Groenewald

A big void tore open in our lives today.....

After a four year journey, and intense battles the last two years - a noble warrior laid down her armour. 

Heidi's voice went silent for us on earth, but we know she is now singing with the angel choir.

We thank Abba Father that He blessed us with His love that flowed through her.

May we continue to honour her, by letting this love live through us......

Dear Heidi,

You have fought long and hard, but you did not lose the battle. You won! You are now in your forever home, pain free and healthy. God always picks the most beautiful flowers for His garden. R.I.P Heidi.

I listened to Heidi's podcast just the other day. Thank you for always listening to her. Thank you for supporting and caring for her to the end.

Gone but never forgotten, may you rest in peace and find eternal happiness.

Though she may be gone, her memory will live on forever in our hearts. Thank you for the loving support you were to us.  God's amazing blessings to your supportive family and friends.  Another precious angel received  her beautiful wings.

Dear Johan

We, the Living With Cancer Warriors, want to honour Heidi’s memory and the profound impact she had on our group. Through her strength, kindness, and courage, she became more than just a fellow warrior – she was an inspiration to us all. Heidi faced every challenge with grace, turning her struggles into moments of connection and hope for others. She shared her heart with us in both the dark days and moments of joy, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Her presence in the group was a light that shone brightly, a reminder that even in the most difficult times, we are not alone. She built a community where others found comfort, just as she did. Her journey, her bravery, and her love for life will always be part of our collective story.

We will carry her memory forward in our hearts, as we continue the fight with the strength she gave us.
